F -- CONE COLLECTION FOR DESCHUTES NATIONAL FOREST/OCHOCO NATIONAL FOREST SOL Sol No. 7-97-R29 DUE 080197 POC Contact Point, Cecilia Rogers, 541/416-6534, FAX 541-416-6661 This project consists of cone collection on three districts of the Deschutes National Forest and all four districts of the Ochoco National Forest and the Burns Ranger District of the Malheur National Forest. This will be an indefinite quantities contract for 1997 and 1998. Species to be collected on the Bend/Ft Rock District are Ponderosa Pine, Douglas Fir and Engleman Spruce. Species on the Crescent Ranger District will be Ponderosa Pine. Species to be collected on the Sisters Ranger District will be Ponderosa Pine, Douglas fir, and Western Larch of the Deschutes National Forest. Species to be collected on all districts of the Ochoco National Forest and Burns R.D. of the Malheur N.F. is Ponderosa Pine and Lodgepole Pine. Estimated start work date is August 25, 1997.
