D -- FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE WINDOWS-BASED ECONOMIC EQUILIBRIUM SOFTWARE SYSTEM POC Clementine Caudle-Wright (703)648-7483 Market Search -- The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS)has a requirement for a pre-existing, single, integrated software system which may be built upon that allows immediate response to Energy Resources Program networks. System must fully integrate geologic, economic, and policy information and automate the distribution of USGS work products. System must be a desktop computer application that links USGS oil and gas and coal resource assessment estimates to existing, commercial economic models so as to provide an economic evaluation of any specific oil and gas resource considering cost-supply functions for the specific resource, various commodity cost scenarios, transportation costs, and commodity demand. The system must be a fully customizable Windows-based economic equilibrium software system that has been fully tested and commercially successfully. System must be licensed to other energy-related organizations outside the Federal government, specifically state organizations and energy-related industries. System must have a full graphical network capability with each node individually retrievable to ensure efficient data entry. It must be compatible with existing USGS networks and data bases and interface with UNIX and Apple environments and the Internet. System must also accept graphical and tabular data from commercial packages such as Excel and Access to allow the USGS to accept information from various constituents quickly and efficiently "cut and paste" it into the model. It should contain a fully automated report writer that has full textual capability coupled with full upload/download capability. Firms are being sought with the capability of providing this system. Firms who believe they can provide the required system are invited to submit an affirmative response to this notice; all such responses will be evaluated. An affirmative response shall include literature, brochures, and other information corresponding to the required item which demonstrates the capability to provide this system.
