This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items. Proposals are hereby requested under RFP N00189-97-R-0074 a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Acquisition Group Norfolk intends to purchase, on a full and open competitive basis, Storm Doors as follows: 1) 782 each door, storm, self storing window, non handed, with hardware, classic white, forever seasons or equal 3' 0" x 6' 8". This quantity consist of 192 each sand piper crescent units, 168 each port lyautey units, 44 each bradford cove units, 286 each shelton units and 92 each gela housing units. 2) 292 each door, storm, self storing window, non handed, with hardware, classic white, forever seasons or equal 2' 8" x 6' 8". This quantity consist of 292 each sandpiper crescent units. 3) 295 each Door, Prehung, 3'0" x 6'8" x1 3'4" rh, stanley, weather wise jamb (composite), prefinish white 6 panel steel door, bored for entry and deadbolt locks with 2 3/4" backsets, units include adjustable sill with weather break and 190 degree door viewer (installed). This quantity consists of 143 each shelton house units, 22 each bradfordcove units, 84 port lyautey housing units and 46 each gela housing units. 4) 295 each Door, Prehung, 3'0" x 6'8" x 1 3/4" lh, stanley weather wise jamb (composite), prefinish white 6 panel steel door, bored for entry and deadbolt locks with 2 3/4" backsets, units includes adjustable sill with weather break and 190 degree door viewer (installed). This quantity includes 84 each port lyautey untis, 143 each shelton housing units, 22 each bradfordcove units and 46 each gela housing units. 5) 590 packages, Casing, clam shell, has 2 legs and 1 header, premitered with splines 3'0" x 6'8". This quantity consists of 92 pgs of gela housing units, 286 pgs of shelton housing units, 44 units bradfordcove housing units and 168 pgs of port lyautey housing units. Award of a firm fixed price contract on a brand name or equal basis is contemplated. Proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, Norfolk, VA. Offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Eval-Commercial Items: The Govt intends to make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the minimum technical requirements and submits the lowest overall price. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders: The following numbered subparagraphs under paragraph (b) of this apply: (1), (2), (3), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10), (11) "regulatory". The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 90-37. The following Defense FAR Supplement (DFAR) provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: DFAR 252.252-7000 Buy American Act -- Balance of Payments Program Certificate (DEC 1991), DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items: The following clauses under paragraph (b) of this clause apply: 252.219-7008, 252-225-7001, and 252.233-7000. Award will be made to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, offers the most advantageous to price to the Govt. The Govt reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced offeror. As a minimum, vendors should provide this office: a price proposal on letterhead or a SF1449 for the requested items w/unit price, extended price, prompt payment terms, remittance address, descriptive literature of items offered, and copies of FAR 52.212-3 and DFAR 252.212-7000.
