Robinson, (410) 997-6225 The United States Postal Service is seeking a proposal from qualified contractors for a single general trades contract to construct the new Lisbon Main Post Office. The site location is the N.E. corner of S.R. 45 and Saltwell Dr. (Easterly Boundry Dickey Dr.). The project includes site development, site utilities, and a new structure including electrical, mechanical and plumbing. The total project comprises approximately of 7,300 S.F. building on an approximately 1.5 acre site. The new building will contain a retail area, workroom, loading dock and equipment, and support areas. The new building is wood stud framing with face brick veneer exterior walls on all sides, concrete slab-on-grade floor, premanufactured wood roof trusses with shingles, interior wood stud gypsum board partitions, acoustical ceiling, plumbing for toilet rooms and limited area sprinkler, power and lighting, and HVAC system composed of furnaces and ductwork. Site development includes customer and employee parking, loading dock maneuvering area, mail drop area, complete landscaping, fencing, site walls, signage, and storm water management. The estimated price range is between $650,000 and $850,000 with completion within 210 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Proposals are due by 4:00 PM on July 30, 1997.
