There will be no formal solicitation. Instead, alpha contracting methodology will be used. This proposed action is for supplies that the government does not own specifications and drawings to permit competition. The M203/M4 Compatibility Kit is a modification kit that will allow the M203 Grenade Launcher to be attached to the M4 Carbine. There are six unique spare/repair parts also included in this buy. Requirements are 200 each for each of the spare/repair parts. The 100% evaluated option applies to both the M203/M4 Compatibility Kits and the unique spare/repair parts. This buy will include a requirement to update the TDP and obtain additional drawings. All or part of this action is an unfunded FY97 requirement.
