Z -- MAINTENANCE,REPAIR, AND ALTERATION OF REAL PROPERTY SOL DE-FB65-97WJ33248 DUE 081897 POC Cheryl Smith (970) 490-7523 The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete this project -- Estes Substation, Stage 03 and Estes-Marys Lake West 115-kV Transmission Line Project. The work consists of removing existing transmission lines, and installing wood structures, steel structures, overhead ground wires, and optical overhead ground wire. The substation work includes sitework, concrete, metalwork, installation and removal of a electrcial equipment. excavation for foundations and trenches, backfill, and gravelfill, chain link fence, replacing gravel surfacing, and removing oil piping and fire protection piping. Installing one government-furnished breaker and slip-on current transformers; furnishing and installing disconnecting switches and selector switches, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, ground system, conduit, conductors and cables, and bus systems. Constructing a 20-foot by 28-foot service building. This project is located in Larimar County, Colorado. The estimated order of magnitude of this project is between $1M and $5M. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be issued in hard copy FREE OF CHARGE.
