The Jefferson Lab plans to issue a competitive solicitation for construction services for the Physics Storage Building Project at the site. A pre-engineered metal building is to be designed and constructed. The period of performance is expected to be nine months. Estimated date for release of this solicitation is July 25, 1997 with proposals due on or about August 31, 1997. Interested firms should indicate whether they are small business, small disadvantaged business and/or woman owned business. If adequate interest from qualified small or small disadvantaged business concerns is received, consideration will be given to setting the solicitation aside for small business and/or small disadvantaged business.
