transportation and supervision required to 1) procure an independent
sampling and testing company to sample and and test existing painted
steel sheet pile bulkhead surface for lead content. Submit test results
for Government review and evaluation. Do not begin any paint removal
work until the Government provides direction; 2) Cleand and paint the
steel sheet pile bulkhead surface from MLLW to the cap; 3) Remove the
existing fender system and replace with new fender system; 4) Replace
all the existing bottom bolts conecting the cross bracing on the timber
pier with new galvanized bolts; 5) fill the old nail holes left in the
pier timber piles with stiff mastic material or caulk; 6) replace the
existing pavement adjacent to the bulkhead; 7) install a concrete curb
and gutter behind the bulkhead; 8) grout around the penetratin of the
old pipes in the bulkhead; 9) replace the existing electrical shore tie
conduit and junction box; 10) replace the existing concrete foundation
for the light pole; and 11) rpr concrete containment. Unit Work Items
include: Remove and dispose of paint chips as non-hazardous waste;
remove and dispose of paint chips a hazardous wste and provide a per lf
cost of sealing cracks in the existing asphalt pavement based on a
sealing quantity of 200 lf. All work shall be performed at USCG Station
Annapolis, MD. The Estimated Range is $25-$100K. The SIC is 1629.
Performance Period is 110 calendar days. This procurement is open to
both large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business
Demonstration Act. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which
will be considered by this agency. Close Date for Quote is on/or about
