Building 95 -- furnish and install a low pressure, steam, firebox-model VS-20-G Kewanee or approved equal boiler. Boiler shall be natural gas, 15 psi steam, factory packaged. Boiler firing mode shall be High-Low-Low-Fire start with input of 840 MBH and output of 670 MBH (20 BHP). Buildings 2550 and 2552 -- furnish and install a low pressure, hot water firebox-waterback model VW15-G Kewanee or approved equal boiler(s). Boiler shall be natural gas 30 psi water, factory packaged. Boiler firing mode shall be High-Low-Low-Fire start with input of 628 MBH (15 BHP). Building 2575 -- furnish and install a low pressure, steam, firebox-waterback model VS25-G Kewanee or approved equal boiler. Boiler shall be natural gas, 15 psi steam, factory packaged. Boiler firing mode shall be High-Low-Low Fire start with input of 1046 MBH and output of 837 MBH (25 BHP). Building 6087 -- furnish and install a low pressure, hot water, firebox-waterback model VW20-GO Kewanee or approved equal boiler. Boiler shall be a combination gas/oil, 30 psi water, factory packaged. Boiler firing mode shall be High-Low-Low Fire start with input of 840 MBH and output of 670 MBH (20 BHP). All boilers shall: be 115 volt, 1 phase; boiler burners shall be forced-draft. Boilers shall have the following accessories: Fireye E100 Flame Safeguard System as manufactured by the Fireye Company or approved equal; Combination Feeder Low-Water Cut-off (Bldg. 95 only); McDonnell-Miller 63B (Bldgs. 2550, 2552, & 6087) or 51-2 (Bldg. 2575) combination feeder low-water cut-off or approved equal; Probe type second water low-water cutoff; Lifting loops; Relief valves; Operating Controls; Stack Thermometer; Burner control cabinet with lights, switches & fuses; Steam Gauge (Bldgs. 95 & 2575) or Combination Altitude Gauge and Thermometer (Bldgs. 2550, 2552, & 6087); 10-year warranty on door refractory; factory firetested; and for Bldg. 6087 -- Oil pump driven by blower motor and pilot direct spark. Contractor shall furnish all required materials to replace boiler complete. Contractor shall be responsible for removing existing piping, hangers, supports, electric panels, conduit, motors, etc., and any other items required to provide the necessary room to replace the boilers. All valves installed or replaced shall be 125 psi ball type valves. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1711. Small business size standard is average annual receipts of a concern and all affiliates over the preceding three fiscal years cannot exceed $7 million. Period of performance for completion of the project is sixty (60) calendar days. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the "Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is unrestricted. Estimated range of the project is $25,000 to $100,000.
