Work shall include removal and disposal of existing gravel roof surfacing and metal roof flashings, installation of new steep-sloped structural steel framing system over existing built-up roof areas, installation of new prefinished metal standing seam roof panels, fascia and soffit system, removal and disposal of existing shingle roofs and installation of new underlayment and mineral-surfaced asphalt shingles, removal and disposal of existing built-up roof systems and installation of new rigid board insulation, built-up roof system and flashings, alteration of existing roof penetrations to accommodate new steep sloped roofs, installation of new sheet metal accessories, installation of new roof top equipment, recertification of existing lightning protection systems, and installation of lightning and smoke detection systems. Project requirements will be made available on or about 30 Jun 97. Approximate closing date is 30 Jul 97. This solicitation will be issued as full and open competition. The applicable small business size standard for interested small business concerns, including their affiliates, is not more than $7.0 million in average receipts for the preceding three years. The standard industrial classification code is 1761. All replies to the notice must be in writing. Magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Requests for this solicitation must be submitted in writing. Telephone requests will not be honored. There will be a $50.00 fee for each set requested. A Set consists of one each solicitation, specification, and drawings. Payment must be made in the form of a cashier's check. Other forms of payment will not be accepted.
