Maria J. Pizarro, 315-772-6510 (Site Code DAKF36) Furnish all plant,
labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary to perform all
operations in connection with the construction of desigated buildings
and facilities on Range 33 and the Live Fire Village, Fort Drum, New
York, in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings, and
subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Principal
Features: The work to be performed will include, but is not limited to
the following items. (1) RANGE 33; SITE "A". Demolition and removal of
the exiting 20' X 20' metal storage building. Construction of a new 40'
X 40' pre-engineered metal Multi-purpose building on the site of the
removed structure. Construction of a new 12' X 20' pre-engineered
metal, Ammo Breakdown building. Construction of a new 17' X 32'
pre-engineered metal, Bleacher Enclosure structure, and the upgrading
of the electrical service into the range and the installation of new
services for the multi-purpose and the ammo breakdown area. (2) LIVE
FIRE VILLAGE; SITE "B". Construction of a new 40' X 40' pre-engineered
metal Multi-purpose building. Repairs to approximately 800 ft. of
Canfield Road into the site, and construction of a new 75' X 150'
gravel parking lot across the road from the new building. This
procurement is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
Solicitation to be issued O/A 30 Jun 97. This is an unrestricted
procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be
considered. Copies of the solicitation will only be provided in
