The Navy requires one each Amorphous Silicon Array Imaging System to be used with a 350/450 x-ray machine, manufactured in accordance with the NSWC Crane purchase description and National Electric Code. The system shall also be usable with other x-ray systems up to energies of 10 MeV. It shall include the electronics to allow an amorphous silicon panel to be used for radioscopic imaging. All interface cables and electronics to power the panel, the appropriate computer and software, and a high resolution monitor shall be provided. The contractor shall install the system and demonstrate its performance at NSWC Crane. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This action is 100% reserved for Small Business concerns; the applicable SIC code is 3844 and the size standard is 500 employees or less. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane within 90 days after effective date of award. It is anticipated that a formal RFQ will be issued to satisfy this requirement. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply.
