FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a directed sole source procurement to Alaris Medical Systems under authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the following medical items -- Item 0001: Vented/unvented Burette set, 150ml with microbore tubing, 2 needleless ports, 125" length, 20 per case, part number 5210FE, Quantity 48 cases, four (4) cases to be delivered monthly by the 30th; Item 0002: T-connector, small bore, needleless, 6" with one needleless valve, 100 per case, part number 20050E, Quantity 84 cases, seven (7) cases to be delivered monthly by the 30th; Item 0003: Vented/unvented check valve set, with 2 needleless valve ports, 20-drop gravity needleless valve port set, 104" length, 100 per case, part number 42293E, Quantity 48 cases, four (4) cases to be delivered monthly by the 30th; Item 0004: Extension set with 2 needleless valve ports, 40" length, 100 per case, part number 30262E, Quantity 36 cases, three (3) cases to be delivered monthly by the 30th; Item 0005: Extension set, small bore with needleless valve port, 6" length, 100 per case, part number 20039E, Quantity 36 cases, three (3) cases to be delivered monthly by the 30th; Item 0006: Stand alone valve, 100 per case, part number 2000E, Quantity 36 cases, three (3) cases to be delivered monthly by the 30th; Item 0007: Vented/unvented Burette set, microbore, 150ml, with 3 needleless valve ports, 122" length, 20 per case, part number 5206FE, Quantity 48 cases, four (4) cases to be delivered monthly by the 30th. This action is unrestricted; all responsible sources may submit a quote. Solicitation number N00244-97-Q-5188 applies and will be issued as a Request For Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The standard industrial code is 3841 and the business size standard is 500 employees. Delivery of all items is required in the quantities specified by the 30th of each month, commencing October 1997 for one year with three (3) option years. Delivery to be FOB Destination to: Naval Hospital, Material Management Department, Code 01H, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055-5191. Acceptance shall be made at destination.
