Dobson, Contracting Officer Western Area Power Administration intends to procure the following commercial items: 1) 12.47-kV, dry-type shunt reactors for Custer Substation, with an optional 2-year warranty, 2) 13.8-kV, dry-type shunt reactors for New Underwood Substation, with an optional 2-year warranty, and 3) 13.8-kV, dry-type shunt reactors for Huron Substation, with an optional 2-year warranty. The Government may purchase the Optional 2-year warranty for the reactors within 60 days after delivery and acceptance of the equipment when received at final destination site. The solicitation DE-RQ65-97WC11516 will be issued o/a June 30, 1997, on an unrestricted basis. All bids from responsible sources will be considered.
