The project consists of dredging approximately 105,000 cubic yards of material from two dredging areas in an irregulary-shaped basin and the transport and placement of the dredged material to the designated government furnished placement areas indicated for each dredging area. Dredging depth is 16 feet plus two feet of allowable overdepth. The work at dredging area "A" consists of approximately 47,000 cubic yards of mostly fine-grained material to be removed and deposited in the Craney Island Dredging Material Management Area. The work at dredging area "B" consists of approximately 58,000 cubic yards of mostly sandy material to be removed and transported to Anderson Park Beach placement area approximately 7,000 feet northeast of the work area. Magnitude of the project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Duration of the project is 90 calendar days. This is an Unrestricted Procurement. SIC Code 1629 applies.
