Subject solicitation will be negotiated procurement. The following criteria will be sued for the basis of selection.: 1) PROJECT ORGANIZATION AND PERFORMANCE: (a) Contractor shall describe in writing their previous experience, including field superintendent and quality control staff, to coordinate and successfully perform projects with similar scope, magnitude, complexity, and historic significance. The contractor shall provide a list of similar projects current and completed within the past ten years. (b) Contractor shall describe in writing previous experience on historic preservation. (c) Contractor shall describe the experience and qualifications of proposed subcontractors. 2) KEY ELEMENTS in the RESTORATION: Contractor will identify at least three but not more than five key elements to renovate the J.C. Bankston Rock House, inclusive of what the Contractor or subcontractors will do to ensure a successful renovation, including any innovative process that will be used. Key elements may include rock masonry work, window restorations, lead removal, replacing HVAC system, work, etc. 3) SCHEDULE -- Contractor shall provide a construction schedule, bar chart format, showing major work items and interrelationship of the trades that will adequately meet the sequencing requirement of the contract.
