Subject to funding limitations, RFP's for the continued operation of the Sacramento Job Corps Center, California, will be available on June 24, 1997, for issue in response to written requests. The center is located at 3100 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, California, 95832, and its contract capacity is 412 students. Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth, between the ages 16-24. Contractors will manage and operate a Government-owned facility and hire staff for residential living, basic education, vocational training, and provision of health services in accordance with applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations and policy handbooks. A Pre-Proposal walk-through of the center will be convened on July 10, 1997, at 1:00 p.m., followed immediately by a Pre-Proposal Conference to be held on center. Interested offerors should limit their attendance to not more than two persons. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will extend over the period of March 1, 1998, to February 28, 2000, with three potential options of one year each. (0163)
