The National Park Service, Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), San Francisco, CA, has identified a requirement to solicit for services related to the development of an Annex Emergency Response Plan (AERP) to detail emergency response, recovery and collection preservation for approximately twenty-six museum and archive sites located within GGNRA and the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SAFR). This AERP shall not be a stand-alone plan, but shall be specifically tailored to dovetail with the existing Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for the two above-listed Parks. Offerors' proposals must fully conform to the minimum qualifications listed in order of descending preference: (1) demonstrated knowledge of structural engineering as it relates to disaster mitigation plans; (2) documented evidence of preparation of disaster preparation plans for municipalities/cities with at least the complexity in operations as GGNRA; (3) demonstrated knowledge of document and museum collection protection; (4) ability to demonstrate knowledge of the existing GGNRA Emergency Response Plan; (5) demonstrated experience and knowledge in working with local area governments and resources of various disciplines in the preparation of disaster plans.
