NOTE: This will be procured using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will be distributed via Standard Form 18-Request For Quotation. Responses to this RFQ should be written. This procurement is for Towel, Paper Rolled. The towels shall be kitchen rolled paper towels, shall be perforated for easy tearing off of each sheet, shall be 11 inches wide +/-1 inch, shall wound around a paperboard core running the full width of the of the towel and 1-1/2 inches (+/-1/4 inch) in inside diameter. The towels shall be composed of a minimum of 2 piles. The towels shall composed of 100% paper having a minimum of 40% by weight post-consumer recovered material and as otherwise specified by EPA Guidelines for Federal Procurement of Paper and Paper Products Containing Recovered Materials as found in 40 CFR Chapter 1, Part 250. A unit of issue is one box of towels containing a minimum of 295,000 square inches (2048.6 square feet) of towels packaged in 15 or 30 rolls.
