SOL DABT11-97-Q-0177 DUE 061897 POC Contract Specialist JEANETTE WILLOUGHBY (706) 791-1823 (Site Code DABT11) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. No further notices or written solicitation will be issued. This SOL incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect as of FAC 90-46. Contract type is a firm fixed price contract. This SOL is for a 3-D Computer Animation System consisting of the following: Line item 0001: SOFTWARE, SoftImage 3-D for Windows NT on CD-ROM, 1 each to include software licensing with model, motion, matter, tools, actor, image and object translators. custom effects, polygon reduction, flock and wave, development kit; Line item 0002: HARDWARE, Central Processing Unit, Integraph TDZ 400DS Workstation, 1 each, to include (i) Dual Intel Pentium Pro Processors, 200 mHz; (ii) 128 MB RAM; (iii) GLZ-2 Graphics Card; (iv) 4 GB Hard Drive; (v) 3 1/2" Floppy Drive; (vi) CD-ROM Drive; (vii) Windows NT OS. Line item 0003: 21" SVGA /Color Monitor, Integraph, High-resolution Multisinc Monitor, keyboard and mouse, 1 each; Line item 0004: SOFTWARE, Megafonts software for SoftImage 3-D (Graphics Text Fonts), 1 each including: Software licensing with 1001 fonts for SoftImage software. This system will be used in production of a Breast Cancer Education Initiative for TRICARE Region 3 located at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Interested parties are invited to submit quotations and identify their capabilities for providing above items. Quotes must include (1) Brand, model with pertinent descriptive literature and illustrations; (2) Price; and (3) Delivery schedule. Quotes will be considered only from entities who provide clear and convincing information as outlined above and (1) is received not later than June 18, 1997, (2) who quotes equipment that meets the minimum requirements of the government, (3) determined to be most advantageous to the government, considering price and technical capability. Commercial item provisions and clauses applicable are: FAR clauses 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. Evaluation criteria for FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items are price and technical capability. FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (information for this provision shall be submitted with each quotation). FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, FAR clause 52.232-33, Electronic Funds Transfer Payment Methods, DFAR clauses 252.212-7000 and 252.212-7001. A single award for all contract line items will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer is evaluated as "acceptable" and offers the lowest price. A standard commercial warranty for this type of equipment will be accepted by the government and incorporated in this contract.
