This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items. Proposals are hereby requested under RFQ N00189-97-Q-5064 a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Acquisition Group Norfolk intends to purchase, on a full and open competitive basis, Corrugated Sheeting 3'4" x 15'4" 80 sheets, Corrugated Sheeting 3'4" x 14'4" 450 sheets, Corrugated Sheeting 3'4" x 10' 50 sheets, Corrugated Sheeting 3'4" x 6'2" 120 sheets, Fasteners, sheet metal (self tapping, w/washer) 14,850 each, Down Spout 4" x 3" x 14' 25 each, Down Spout 4" x 3" x 5' 25 each, Down Spout 45 degree angle 4" x 3" 120 each, Rain Gutter 6" x 5" 2500 feet, Gutter Hanger 5", 2325 each, Trim Strip 5" x 2 1/2", 2650 feet, Corner Trim 60', Roof Flashing 9 1/2" x 4" 2650 feet, Base Angle 2", 2650 feet, Steel Girder 8'9" x 8" 6 each, Machine Bolts 2" x 1/2" 24 each. All corrugated sheeting is 24 gage, pre-painted. All down spouts and gutters are 24 gage pre-painted. All trim and flashing is 24 gage, pre-painted. Base Angles is 2" angle iron pre-painted. Steel girders are unpainted. Sheet metal fasteners are with washers, salf-tapping and are painted. Paint color is parchment. **Delivery date required is 7 July 97.** Award of a firm fixed price contract on a brand name or equal basis is contemplated. Proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, Norfolk, VA. Offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Eval-Commercial Items: The Govt intends to make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the minimum technical requirements and submits the lowest overall price. Award will be made to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, offers the most advantageous to price to the Govt. The Govt reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced offeror. As a minimum, vendors should provide this office: a price proposal on letterhead or a SF1449 for the requested items w/unit price, extended price, prompt payment terms, remittance address, descriptive literature of items offered, and copies of FAR 52.212-3 and DFAR 252.212-7000.
