Ockerman, Contracting Officer (916) 934-3316 This project requires furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals for the hand release of excess conifers. The conifer plantation have other vegetation present that are effecting the growth and survival of the conifers, therefore, other woody vegetation and various species of thistle, whitethorn, ribes, grass and brush are to be cut, scraped, grubbed and removed. Contract time is 30 days. All units are located on the Covelo Ranger District, Mendocino county in California. Estimated issue date is 27 June 1997 with an estimated date for receipt of quotes of 22 July 1997. A pre-bid tour will be held on 8 July at 9:00 a.m. beginning at the Covelo District office, 78150 Covelo Road, Covelo, CA. Estimated start work date is 31 July 1997.
