Valovcin, Phone (703)604-0903 The NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVAIR), intends to negotiate a cost plus fixed fee type contract with TRW, Avionics Systems Division, Space and Electronics Group, One Rancho Carmel, San Diego, CA, for the procurement of logistics support for the Joint Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (JTUAV) Hunter system during fiscal year 1998. This support will include: depot/asset maintenance, engineering support, configuration management, product assurance/program management, and flight operations support. The contract will include options for Automated Maintenance and Pre-Flight Contact Test Sets, Technical Manuals, Standardization Instructor, Training Devices, Institutional Mission Simulator, Instructor Operating System, Instructor Support, Depot Spare and Repair Parts, demonstration and field support and selected hardware enhancement kits. TRW is the only firm with the requisite knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide the required services and supplies within the required timeframe.
