732-932-1707 This contract is for the development and delivery of a
short-term training course to assist Federal Transit Administration
(FTA) grantees in establishing a change order process to effectively
evaluate, prepare, and process change orders. The two-day course will
be offered to transit agency staff who are involved in the change order
process, including end users, as well as specialists from the legal,
procurement, and project management disciplines, who may attend the
course individually or as members of an agency team. The course should
be designed to help grantees better understand FTA's philosophy
regarding change orders and allow them to implement an acceptable
change order process to ensure that federal dollars will be adequately
protected and spent. The contract will require a list of materials,
course outline, curriculum and all materials, including a resource
manual, presentation of a pilot session and delivery of the course up
to ten (10) times during the first year of the contract and up to 10
additional sessions during an option year. NTI will require proposers
to have had experience in dealing with the subject matter as well as
experience in developing training programs. To obtain a copy of the
complete RFP, send a written request on organization letterhead to the
address above. Faxed requests will be accepted; telephone requests are
unacceptable. RFP's will be mailed by first-class surface mail. RFP's
will not be faxed. Requests will be honored until July 22, 1997.
Although this is not a set-aside contract, small businesses,
minority-owned businesses and/or female-owned businesses are encouraged
