(JMCOMS) Program Office, is seeking potential sources to supply the
Navy and joint forces with commercial off-the shelf, non-developmental
Radio Frequency (RF) Distribution for the multiple channel, multiple
mode, multiple band, programmable Digital Modular Radio (DMR). RF
Distribution consists of all RF equipment in both the transmit and
receive paths including; Power Amplifiers (PAs), combiners, transmit
filters, antennas, receive filters, Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA), RF
splitters and RF switching.. The RF Distribution functions shall be
software reconfigurable, modular in design, and scaleable to meet
various Naval platform circuit requirements. The RF Distribution system
shall support the DMR, operating in the 100 kHz to 2 GHz frequency
range for any of the DMR waveforms including those listed below. The RF
Distribution System shall be interoperable with all legacy systems
listed below in the defined frequency range. The system must be easily
maintainable, have low life cycle costs, and have growth capabilities
to meet future needs. The RF Distribution System power requirements
shall be compatible with existing shipboard and shore applications. The
RF Distribution System shall also be remotely controllable using a
computer workstation optimized for network operations and interface
with the DMR as required. Any offeror who can provide an item or items
which meet the above characteristics should, at a minimum, submit the
following information: System description and performance which
addresses the desired capabilities, the unit cost per channel, the
included capabilities at the submitted cost/channel, upgrade path,
production rates, length of time product has been on the market,
quantities produced to date, supporting technical documentation,
warranty information, test reports/supporting data, logistic
infrastructure, performance/reliability data, and the appropriate
company points of contact. Interested parties must indicate whether
they are a small business or 8(a). This is not an RFP, a promise to
