The work includes, but is not limited to, installing backflow preventers on the potable water system in 44 locations across the base. Project also includes asbestos and lead based paint abatement. There are two (2) base bid items and two (2) additive items. Performance period includes 74 calendar days for administrative matters and 132 calendar days for on site construction, for a total of 206 calendar days. The estimated cost range of the proposed acquisition is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation will be available on or about 30 Jun 97, in CD ROM ONLY.. Funds are not presently available for this project. It is our intent to award this contract prior to 30 Sep 97 if fiscal year (FY) 1997 funds become available. Otherwise, actual award of the contract will occur when FY 1998 funds become available, or a continuing federal budget resolution is passed by Congress, but not later than 29 Nov 97. This is an unrestricted solicitation in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Women-owned and small disadvantaged business concerns are encouraged to submit offers. For informational purposes, the small business size standard for this solicitation is one where the average annual receipts of the concern does not exceed $7.0 Million and the SIC Code is 1711.
