Goodchild< Contracting Officer, (206)984-3878 Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials for the construction work at McChord AFB, WA. The following items are a brief summary of the project: Remove asbestos containing materials (existing window putty) as indicated. Comply with lead-based paint specifications in handling/working with any such materials. Install new vinyl windows as indicated. Install vinyl siding system, including plywood backing and vinyl penetration boxes and trim, at all penetrations and attachment points as indicated. Paint all remaining exposed wood trim items. Repair and/or reinstall all items disturbed by the work. Replace exterior light fixtures with new light fixtures. Install GFE mailboxes and provide trim around mailboxes. Provide final cleaning. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Solicitation will be issued on or about 02 Jul 97, with a proposal closing date of on or about 01 Aug 97. This proposed solicitation is unrestricted. The applicable Standard Industiral Classification (SIC) is 1522 with an average annual gross revenue of $17.0 million for the last three (3) fiscal years. There is a $29.00 non-refundable charge for each proposal package. Payment in the form of a company check, certified cashier's check or U.S. postal money order made payable to the Department of the Air Forcemust accompany each request.
