Based on the availability of Fiscal Year 1997 funding, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to have a new Firearms Training Facility constructed at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy, Pearl, Mississippi. Construction shall include, but is not limited to, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical work to build a new Firearms Training Facility. The primary elements of the building include a classroom, ammunitions vault, toilet facilities, and an observation tower. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Detailed requirements and specifications are included in the Solicitation. Tentative release date for the Solicitation is July 1997. The Solicitation shall be available by mail request only at a cost of $200 per set, limit of two (2) sets per requesting firm. Firms wishing to reserve a copy at this time may do so by remitting its deposit. Deposit is fully refundable upon return of the complete Solicitation to the FBI within 15 calendar days following Bid Opening. The Solicitation shall be available on a first-come- first-served basis until supply is exhausted. When available, a copy of the Solicitation will be placed with the F. W. Dodge, and Construction Market Data, plans rooms. Letters of interest and/or refundable deposits to reserve a copy of the Solicitation may be addressed to: Federal Bureau of Investigation, Attn: Mr. Jan H.
