(1996) PROHIBITION OF CERTAIN FOODS TO BE IMPORTED OR SOLD IN THAILAND
The following notification is being circulated in accordance with
Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif.97.222. 1. Member to Agreement notifying:
THAILAND. If applicable, name of local government involved (Articles
3.2 and 7.2). 2. Agency responsible: Food and Drug Administration
(FDA), Ministry of Public Health. Agency or authority designated to
handle comments regarding the notification can be indicated if
different from above. 3. Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products
covered (HS or CCCN where applicable, otherwise national tariff
heading. ICS numbers may be provided in addition, where applicable):
(1)Infant foods and follow-up foods for infants and young children; (2)
Supplementary foods for infants and young children; (3) Infant formulas
and follow-up formulas for infants and young children; (4) Yoghurts;
(5) Pasteurized milk and milk products; (6) Food for special dietary
