A -- EXTENDING THE LITTORAL BATTLESPACE, ADVANCED CONCEPT TECHNOLOGY DEMONSTRATION SOL BAA 97-018 DUE 062797 POC Peggy Conner This is a modification to ONR BAA-97-018, Extending the Littoral Battlespace, Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration, published April 29, 1997. This modification provides information on the small business size standards and the evaluation of the socio-economic merit of contract proposals submitted in response to the subject BAA. For awards made as contracts, the socio-economic merits of each proposal will be evaluated based on the commitment to provide meaningful subcontracting opportunities for small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small business concerns, historical black colleges and universities, and minority institutions. The standard industrial classification codes are: 8711 with small business size standard of $20M for work area (1) Systems Engineering and Integration, and 8731 with small business size standard of 500 for work area (2) Enabling Technologies. In addition, contract proposals that exceed $500,000 submitted by all but small businesses must be accompanied by a Small, Small Disadvantaged and Women-Owned Small Business Subcontracting Plan in accordance with FAR 52.219-9.
