The Contracting Officer for this solicitation is L.R. Fisk. The work includes the construction of a three-story dormitory building of approximately 52,500 square feet. The building consists of load-bearing masonry walls with exterior insulation finish system. The roof system consists of light gauge metal framing and structural standing seam metal roof. Other building components consists of hollow metal frames, aluminum windows, wood and metal doors, ceramic tile, carpet and resilient flooring, fire protection sprinkler system and mechanical and electrical systems. Supporting facilities include all utilities, including water distribution lines, gas distribution lines, sanitary sewer lines, storm drainage lines, sidewalks, parking, landscaping and incidental related work to provide a complete and usable facility. Bid Option 1, Deduct One Module (12 rooms). Bid Option 2, 177 Space Parking Lot. Bid Option 3, 141 Space Parking Lot. Bid Option 4, 86 Space Parking Lot. Bid Option 5, Site Amenities, Sports Field. Bid Option 6, Landscaping and Irrigtion. There will be 30 days to exercise Bid Option 1. There will be 90 days to exercise Bid Options 2 -- 6. Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interests, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement.
