Solicitation is for replacement of four bridges on the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site (SRS) near Aiken, SC. The existing bridges, which consist of reinforced concrete decks supported by treated timber piles, shall be demolished and removed from the site. The new bridges shall have single spans of prestressed concrete deck, three with 40 foot spans and one with a 30 foot span. The substructure shall consist of CIP concrete pile caps with steel sheet piling supported by prestressed precast concrete piles. SRS is a restricted access Government facility and all persons entering SRS must be U.S. citizens. (0155)
