The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 1629. The scope of work to be covered under this contract consists of rental of a Hopper Dredge and Attendant Plant to include all materials, equipment, supplies, labor, and transportation for maintenance dredging in navigation channels along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Alabama, and Northwest Florida. The primary work location is intended to be Mobile Harbor; however, work at Pascagoula Harbor, Gulfport Harbor, Pensacola Harbor and Panama City Harbor is also possible. Rental of Dredge: The work to be performed under this portion of the contract will consist of the removal and satisfactory disposal of all materials lying above the plane of -52 feet, MLLW, over the bottom widths and applicable side slopes, at specific work locations(s) all within the specified dredging limits of this contract. Project Construction time may vary from 90 to 310 days depending upon size of plant delivered. Bid documents are available on or about 25 June 1997.
