Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and replace the lead coated copper seam roofing and flashing at Quarters 1 and install new copper chimney flashing and related work in residential Buildings 403 thru 408 on Governors Island, NY. Due to the fact that the Coast Guard is in the process of closing its facilities on Governors Island ferry service to the Island will be greatly reduced thus limiting vehicle access to the Island. Ferries will operate only one day per week for six hours. Pedestrian access will be maintained via regularly scheduled Coast Guard vessels. This Invitation for Bids is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both large and small business participation and is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The applicable SIC Code is 1761. Plans and specifications will be available at a non-refundable charge of $20.00 per set.
