Model AMH-401A P.C. based, high frequency hysteresisgraph for high speed analysis of magnetically "soft" materials at frequencies from 50Hz to 1 MHZ. The system includes: AMH-401 active sample test pod and precision current measuring electronics, and NF Instruments Model 4025 DC to 1MHz wide band power amplifier input, and a IBM PC compatible computer and a P.C. upgrade, a Epstein frame for use w/AMH-401A, a single user software site license for AMH-401A source code, ASTM compliant single strip, double yoke test fixture. NIST intends to purchase this system on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-2(a)(5) from Walker Scientific, Inc. of Worcester, MA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement within 15 days of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
