This is a Nonappropriated Funds (NAF), Invitation For Bid (IFB) for the renovation and expansion of an existing Youth Center. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract from this solicitation. The renovation of the existing facility includes architectural, electrical, and mechanical/HVAC modification to existing structures of approximately 3,200 s.f. of space. The expansion portion includes the complete addition of a 4,400 s.f. multi-purpose gym; 1,600 s.f. of connecting facilities, a control desk, restrooms and offices; and a 6,000 s.f. covered pavilion adjacent to the multi-purpose building. Asbestos abatement will be required. No landscaping shall be required only turfing for erosion control; additional parking spaces/area may be included. Estimated performance period shall be 270 calendar days; estimated construction cost range is between $500,000 and $1 million. Solicitation documents will be available for $35.00 (including 1/2 size drawings).
