Tansino, Contracting Officer (617) 242-5663 The work of this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supplies required to perform exterior restoration and interior adaptive re-use of a two-story plus basement brick masonry and wood framed building; exterior masonry repairs including repointing joints, infilling of voids and re-attachment of spalled areas of stone; installation of lead-coated copper roofing; slate shingle roofing repair and alterations; application of joint sealants; painting; concrete slab in basement; rough carpentry; finish carpentry; metal doors, wood doors, door hardware; gypsum board; plaster repairs; tile; specialties; hydraulic elevator; plumbing, HVAC; and electrial. Option #1 -- exterior work in the courtyard which includes selective demolition; earthwork; cast-in-place concrete; masonry and masonry restoration; metal fabrication; finish carpentry; and wheelchair lift. Building location is Abiel Smith Scholl House, 46 Joy Street, Boston, Massachusetts. This solicitation is subject to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns regardless of size. The estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance Time for this project is 240 calendar days. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for July 9, 1997.
