207/438-2775. The abrasive blast room shall be an in-out, end to end
ventilation type for the cleaning of miscellaneous parts, namely steel
plates, shapes, structures, foundations, and fabrications for ships
during alterations and repair. The room shall be installed within
building 285 on a new foundation. It shall have inside dimensions of
14' high X 24' wide X 35' long and consist of one powered roll-up work
door, two access doors, full floor reclaim system (screw type), bucket
elevator, air-wash separator with rotary scalping drum, storage hopper,
blast tank assemblies, powered work car, dust collector, fan, ductwork
system, control cabinets, etc..Contractor will be responsible for
erecting the blast room on-site at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery
Naval Base, Kittery, ME. All interested parties are encouraged to
attend pre-proposal site visit tenatively scheduled for the week of 14
July 1997. Exact details will be in the solicitation. 100% Small

bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
