Owens, (757) 322-4500 The work includes complete renovation of the Student Quarters including gypsum board walls, interior finishes, paint, carpet, vinyl, doors, windows, HVAC and hot water system, toilet and bath fixtures and accessories, cabinets, countertops, electrical system, sprinkler system, phone/TV/LAN wiring, abestos and lead paint abatement, demolition and incidental related work. This is a combination firm fixed price and indefinite quantity contract. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 20 June 1997. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first come, first serve basis. A check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Treasury of the United States is required as a non-refundable charge for each set of bidding data. Written requests must be received in the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction no less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening if you want the bidding data mailed. If your check is received less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening, we will attempt to contact you and afford you the opportunity to pick up a bid package.
