Estimated Cost Range: $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. Time for completion 450
calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. No document charge or
deposit required. Project involves: Selective demolition, furnish and
install carpet, vinyl and ceramic tile, masonry, concrete, structural
steel, windows, doors/frames, wall partitions, millwork, fire
sprinklers, fire alarm, light fixtures and acoustic ceiling systems.
Work includes: Painting, glazing, plumbing, HVAC repair/replacement,
miscellaneous electrical work, hydraulic elevator, prisoner detention
hardware and control systems, and asbestos abatement (contained in
vinyl floor tile and pipe lagging). Abatement of PCB filled fluorescent
lighting ballasts will be required. Work also includes: Option 1 --
Control Valves, Option 2 -- Cable Trays, Option 3 -- Lighting Retrofit,
Option 4 -- Asbestos Abatement Any contractor or subcontractor
performing asbestos or other hazardous material work shall satisfy
special responsibility and provide bodily injury liability insurance
coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence. Such coverage must
encompass liabilities arising from work with hazardous materials
involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risk. Special
competency qualification information will be required for the
