S -- FACILITIES OPERATIONS SUPPORT SERVICES SOL 14-01-0001-97-R-23 DUE 063097 POC Ms. Michaela M. Dickens, Contract Specialist and Ms. Karen Brooks, Contracting Officer. The U.S. Department of the Interior requires the services of a contractor to provide all supplies, materials, labor and supervision to insulate mechanical equipment located in the Main Interior Building, Room B-002, Washington, DC to conserve energy. The Contractor shall maintain manufacturer's recommended temperatures and conditions for tapes, adhesives, mastics, and cements. Follow manufacturer's recommended handling practices and submit copies of Material Safety Data Sheets. The contractor shall also provide current information to the Government concerning the quantity and type(s) of any/all hazardous materials stored in the Main Interior Building (Room B-002). All materials shall be installed in a professional manner by skilled workmen regularly engaged in this type of work. Materials shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, building codes, and industry standards. All interested parties should request in writing RFP 14-01-0001-97-R-23.
