The National Institutes of Health, (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) has a requirement to purchase the following Gatan CCD Camera and accessories which are ideal for high magnification work and provides excellent resolution. The following outlines the specifics of the required acquisition: 1) Gatan 794 Multiscan CCD camera, 1K x 1k Pixel Retract Ractable MSC with Grade A CCD Chip for up to 200KEV; 2) Installation and Operator Training; 3) DMA Acquisition Hardware for MAC PCIBUS Computer; 4) Digital Micrograph Software; 5) Additional Copy of Digital Micrograph; 6) Low Dose Software and Digital Montage Plus Cable; 7) Shipping and Delivery Charges for all of the above items. The NIDDK also requests a copy of the vendor's published price list and descriptive literature for the above items. The equipment needed has specifications that must be met and are described in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) package. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All requests for quotations must be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000. It is anticipated that the RFQ package NIH-NIDDK-97-266 will be available (fifteen) 15 days after the publication date of the synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is June 27, 1997.
