A -- Enginnering Services on a cost plus fixed fee basis in support of Fixed Surveillance Systems(FSS). Contractor will be involved in the development, operation, maintenance and Life cycler support of FSS such as: Sound surveillance system(SOSUS), Fixed distributed system(FDS), Shore signal processing system segment(SSIPS), and Surveillance direction system(SDS). Contrcator will perform such tasks as sea operations support, reliability and failure analysis, maintenance and repair, software maintenance, configuration management, life cycle cost analysis, etc. Three year requirement with a base effort of one year and two one year options. An estimated 116,833 Staff hours (SH) required per year. Start date of 1 Oct 1997. Note 22 applies.
