D -- ECOLOGICAL DATASET ACQUISITION, CONVERSION, AND ANALYSIS SOL R6-97-869 DUE 060297 POC Contact: Procurement and Property Management, 503/326-3581 The USDA Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Region, intends to award a sole source contract to John Caratti for the purpose of: formatting of ecological datasets for statistical analysis and related metadata documentation; multi-variate statistical analysis of appropriate ecological datasets; and preparation of related technical documents for the reporting of ecological dataset analysis results. These activities will result in the conversion and analysis of ecological datasets (e.g., soils, vegetation, fisheries information) across the Pacific Northwest, with the information used in the study of various multi-scale ecosystem pattern/process relations within the Columbia River Basin. John Caratti was the primary analyst involved with formatting and analyzing landscape ecology datasets for the Columbia River Basin Landscape Ecology Science Team; this is a continuation of that work.
