(703)604-0903 The Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) Program
Office intends to conduct a full and open competition to execute a
Heavy Fuel Engine (HFE) Certification Program. The purpose of the TUAV
HFE program is to fabricate, demonstrate, and certify a HFE, derived
from current HFE technolgy, for "Tactical" class UAVs. The desired
engine design must be based on available/mature state of the art engine
technologies and require only limited modifications for adaptation and
integration. The Government is not interested in conceptual designs or
engines requiring application of advanced materials or technologies
which have not been validated or proven. Draft acquisition
