This project includes furnishing all material, labor, equipment and supervision for the removal of HVAC system servicing the one story above grade dining room wing in Melville Hall. A new 50 ton roof top packaged unit is to be installed. Included in the work are all associated heating, ventilation and air-conditioning elements such as duct work, controls and electrical work, as well as structural steel roof reinforcement and minor general construction work. All work shall be completed by November 30, 1997. The estimated cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 24 June 1997 at the Academy's Safety Training Center, Room N308, Furuseth Hall. The applicable SIC code is 1711 and the industry small business size is $7.0 million. A limited number of solicitation packages will be available and issued on a first come first served basis. Only one set of plans and specifications will be provided to each requester, for which there will be no charge.
