The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Cumberland, MD, has a requirement for Solid Waste Disposal Services. The Base period of the contract is anticipated to run from date of award through September 30, 1998, with four (4) one year option periods for renewal. The contractor shall provide the following for the Base period and each option period (should the Government decide to unilaterally award the option periods): Rental of two (2) thirty yard compactors for 12 months; Pick-up, deliver, empty, and return two (2) thirty yard compactors once a week for 52 weeks (104 estimated pulls). The estimated tonnage for the contract is twenty (20) tons per week for 52 weeks (1,040 estimated tons per contract period). It is anticipated solicitation packages will be mailed out approximately July 1, 1997, with an approximate due date of August 15, 1997.
