commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation (F2660097Q0642) is issued as a Request for Quotation.
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This
procurement is reserved for small business concerns, utilizing the size
standard in FAR 19 under Standard Industrial Code 3589. Item
description as follows: NON-PERSONAL SERVICE: To furnish all parts,
labor, equipment, transportation and materials to inspect and clean the
inside surfaces of eight (8) water storage reservoirs estimated at
$40,000.00. Facility Number and Reservoir Type: 561 Elevated Reservoir
1012 Elevated Reservoir 1721 Elevated Reservoir 10420 Elevated
Reservoir 491 Ground Reservoir 10113 Underground Reservoir 562 Ground
Reservoir 1999 Ground Reservoir DESCRIPTION OF REQUIRED REPAIRS AND
SERVICES: All inside surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and inspected
for structural integrity. All accumulated sediments as well as that
generated during the cleaning operations, must be removed and disposed
of from each reservoir. The contractor is responsible for disposal of
all accumulated sediments. After cleaning and inspection, each
reservoir must be super-chlorinated prior to bringing the reservoir
back on line. A cathodic protection will need to be applied before
re-filling with water. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerers-Commercial applies to this solicitation. Evaluations of
offers will be based on price and price related factors. The clause at

contracting agency subject to the provisions of 5 USC 5341 or 5332.
