West, 907/753-2552/Contracting Officer, Corps of Engineers Description of Work: Comprehensive renovation and minor addition to an existing 27,800 square foot elementary school. The 1700 square foot minor addition shall expand the school's administrative office area and kitchen facilities. The renovation shall include, but no limited to, the school's electrical, mechanical, HVAC, architectural finishes, playground, equipment, landscaping and paving. Bidders are required to submit a bid on the Anchorage School District advertisement, ITB 97-54-PF, to construct a 10,000 square foot gymnasium, two classroom and library addition to this same school. Renovation of the school and construction of the gymnasium/two classroom/library addition shall be concurrent. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled or advised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services.
