The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Office of Space Science is releasing a NASA Research Announcement (NRA- 97-OSS-12) entitled Astrophysics Theory Program that solicits proposals for research in support of the ongoing and future Research and Analysis Program of the Astrophysics Theory Program. This program seeks to address problems in space astrophysics including the subdisciplines of infrared and radio astrophysics, ultraviolet and visible astrophysics, high energy astrophysics, relativity and gravitational astrophysics, and, new this year, cosmic ray/particle astrophysics. Participation is open to all categories of organizations, foreign and domestic, including industry, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, NASA centers, and other Government agencies. This solicitation will be open through September 15, 1997; proposals may be submitted throughout this period.
